Our Story

August, 2023– It was late at night the kind of nights where our best conversations have always happened, and still do to this day.

We were talking about life… where we were, and where we wanted to be in a few years. It was right after graduation, going into the fall, that stage where it feels like you’re supposed to make some of the biggest decisions of your life.

There was stress, uncertainty, even anxiety about the future. It felt like whatever path you chose, there were no take backs.

And on that night, the idea of Divine came up.

We were talking about our faith and how we could grow it, live it out more, and take it further.

Somewhere in that conversation, it clicked  what if we created something of our own? Something faith based. Something real.

That’s when Divine started.

As the night went on, the conversation got deeper. We started sharing ideas, passion, and vision for what this could become.

Before we ended that night, we made one decision  to leave it in God’s hands. If thisu is part of His will, the doors will open.

So we prayed.

And over time, they did.

As we continued to pray and take steps forward, doors began opening. We started building the website, figuring out pricing, and getting the equipment we needed to bring this to life.

At the same time, the idea of giving back became just as important as building the brand. That’s where the idea of the 20% came from a way to stay dependent on God, to seek Him first in everything, and to make sure this was always about more than just us.

We went back and forth with a name for a decent period of time, we came to a point of needing a name to move forward and couldn’t fully settle on one when the name Divine came in the list it easily became one of their favorites on the list

One of the things we decided on was a verse of Divine— Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, go and proclaim the world to all creation”

And on the same day we planned to form the official LLC for Divine… Mark 16:15 was the verse of the day.

Mission

To create bold, faith-driven clothing that empowers people to express what they believe without saying a word.

We know how hard it can be to share your faith or openly proclaim it. You have to wear something so why not make it meaningful?

We aim to truly connect with our customers and be involved in our community showing love and kindness just as we have been given.

Divine exists as a signal for those searching for purpose, and as a reminder to live boldly in faith and love.

20% Rule

It’s a reminder that what we “earn” was never truly ours it’s God’s.

By setting aside 20%, even as a small act, it keeps us grounded in that truth. It reminds us that everything we have is given, and everything we do should reflect that.

God will always provide. His love never ceases.

And this is our way of reflecting that same love not just in words, but in action.

“I can have all things, but if I do not have love, I have nothing.”
